Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and may close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house using a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined household revenue won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from nsfas check households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the correct Identity Doc numbers, names, read more and surname, as mirrored inside their South African ID.
